However, as its name suggests, it was also known for the production of citrus fruits thanks to a microclimate, which maintains a mild temperature even in winter. In1932, with the opening of the Garda road, the town was connected with Riva del Garda, thus definitively losing its infrastructural isolation.<\/p>\n<p>Limone holds the record for being the most northern site in the world, in which citrus is cultivated.
