The “1000 Miglia” tour starts at the museum in the district of Sant’Eufemia, in the outskirts of the city of Brescia. This museum occupies a portion of the old “Sant’Eufemia della Fonte” Monastery. In the past it was an old Benedictine monastic complex dating back to the XI century.
The guided tour lasts about an hour and illustrates the main events of the race on urban roads, which goes from Brescia to Rome, and back again. During the visit, the focus will be on the four musketeers, the champions of the competition, and the crews, in the race’s stages from 1927 till today, thus highlighting the socio-cultural evolution of a century.
